A pilot study in Maryland looked at how students react when they can’t go online or check their email on their phones for a day.
According to one of the experts in this BBC report, which put these results to the (not quite scientific) test, when you take the Internet away from them, young adults just “go around the house around in silence – and they really hate that.”
